Click to view full-size. EXTREMELY RARE - 1934 CHARLES B. DARROW 23 INCH BOARD This board was printed in early 1934 and was made from the original printer's letterpress plate used to print Darrow's oilcloth playing boards. Instead of cloth, Darrow used paper, then wrapped the paper around cardboard gameboards. This was Darrow's first hard surface board which preceeded the production run of the Darrow White Box set which used a smaller 20 inch board. The White Boxes were produced in the summer and fall of 1934. |
